To You My Friends
Friends,
I hope this note finds you well. I wanted to reach out personally to share some news. I’m running for a board seat on the Cherokee Village Suburban Improvement District (SID). If you’ve ever heard me talk about Cherokee Village, you know how much I care about this community—its lakes, golf courses, and the people who make it special.
I first came to Cherokee Village in 1973 when I was nine years old. I’ve been a property owner and homeowner for over 20 years now. My family is deeply invested in this community, and I’d like to give back in a meaningful way. Many of you have described me as level-headed, reasonable, and rational—qualities I’ll bring to the SID board as we work to ensure sustainability and transparency across all of our amenities.
Cherokee Village’s lakes and golf courses are the backbone of our community, and I will always fight to keep them vibrant and protected. Their stability benefits all property owners and helps to lift all property values in the village.
I have real experience leading volunteer organizations responsibly—making decisions that benefit the community as a whole, not for just a few. That’s the same approach I’ll take on this board: practical leadership focused on what’s best for all property owners.
I’d truly appreciate your support in this election. Please reach out - call, text, or email me anytime at 870‑667‑6448 or myersforcvsid@gmail.com - if you’d like to talk more or ask questions. Let’s keep Cherokee Village strong and sustainable, together.
Thank you,
Michael Myers
