I am humbled by this outcome. Last night's election result is a victory for every Cherokee Village property owner committed to protecting our lakes, golf courses, amenities, and unique lifestyle. The voters have sent a clear mandate: they demand commissioners fully dedicated to safeguarding these assets for generations to come, without fail.
I am deeply grateful for the trust placed in me and pledge to serve with transparency, fiscal responsibility, and open communication—precisely as voters directed. Even if you did not vote for me, I will work just as hard for you as for my most ardent supporters.
I look forward to collaborating as allowed within the law with the other four SID commissioners, the Mayor, and the city council—we're all in this together to keep our community thriving for the long haul. Folks, it’s now time to get to work.

My nomination speech at the October 20, 2025 SID Nominating Meeting
Dedicated to serving the Cherokee Village property owners with integrity and a strong commitment to our community's future by helping to grow our community smartly and reasonably, and at the same preserving our unique and priceless charm.
I will also be a bridge to the Mayor and city council by reaching out and working with them to better this city. We need to work together, not be against each other. SID and the city must be on the same team and put aside any personal differences to find solutions to these long term issues, and I can help bring that about.

My focus will be on promoting steady progress of maintaining and upgrading our amenities while doing so within our financial means. Above all, I will champion the safeguarding and keeping private to all of us property owners and our guests, our cherished lakes, golf courses, amenities, and the unique lifestyle we enjoy here, ensuring they endure for generations to come.
